Product: ISOPOL SBR Screed - Flowfresh RT Polyurethane Screed 9mm

Project requirement:
Following a survey of the factory floor it was obvious that there were variable floor finishes throughout. Types of floor finishes ranged from bitumen bonded Timber Parquet Flooring and Epoxy Paint to Polyurethane self-leveling floors and Polyurethane Screeds. There were also areas with Methyl Methacrylate Resin Floors and Ceramic Tiled Floors. Each area provided a challenge in terms of preparation to providing a suitable substrate to receive a New Seamless Resin Floor Finish. Taking all surveyed information into consideration and XL working with the manufacturer we recommended the uplift of all existing floors and the installation of Flowcrete Isopol SBR Water Resistant Screed between 10mm and 40mm giving a sound base for the new Resin Flooring. We then installed Flowcrete Anti Microbial Polyurethane System Flowfresh RT at 9mm onto the new floor substrate.

Isopol SBR Water Resistant Screed - Flowfresh RT at 9mm.  

Process:
Uplift and removal from site of existing floor coverings as required. Mechanically prepare floor with captive shot blasting to receive new SBR screed. Installation of Isopol SBR water resistant screed from 10mm to 40mm. Installation of Flowfresh RT at 9mm   

Conclusion:
The works were carried out over a 6 month period while the factory was in full production with no disruption to the clients activities and in line with the programme of works to the clients satisfaction.
