Product: Resuthane RS69 Polyurethane 9mm.

Proposed product:
Following site surveys Resuthane RS69 heavy duty Polyurethane screed was specified due to its excellent heavy duty usage with resistance to thermal shock, abrasion and chemical attack.  Resuthane RS69 is stable to steam cleaning and resistant to boiling water and process liquids up to 120oC when applied at 9mm.   

Process:
The existing floor was prepared by mechanical shot blasting to provide a clean textured finish. Resuprime (epoxy primer) was then applied to the floor and broadcast with fine quartz to create a mechanical key prior to the screed installation. Resuthane RS69 was then applied at 9mm.  Once cured expansion joints had to be cut and a polyurethane expansion jointing compound applied over existing expansion joints to prevent surface cracking. 

Conclusion:
Our client was extremely pleased with the finished floor with the works being completed on time and within budget.
