Product: Flowfast Quartz

Project requirement:
The client required a floor that was fresh, bright and cleanable with slip resistant properties. Due to the nature of the works to be carried out within the area there was also a requirement for chemical resistance.

Proposed product:
The proposed product for installation was Flowfast Quartz which was the perfect product for meeting the clients requirements. Not only was the Flowfast Quartz system a fast-track system but it also provided excellent abrasion resistance, chemical resistance with an easily cleanable surface.      

Process:
Floor preparation included the process of mechanical shot-blasting and dustless diamond grinding to provide a key for the new flooring system. Areas of the floor were then marked off for different colour applications and the floor was then primed. Following the primer coat the flowfast quartz system was laid at 4mm and was finally sealed with two coats of seal. 

Conclusion:
To conclude, the installation of the Flowfast Quartz system provided the client with a great number of benefits including slip resistance, chemical resistance and abrasion resistance with an eye catching finish. The fast track properties of the flooring system also allowed the project to be completed in as short a period as possible.
